The Brighton Cello Course is a cello summer school founded in 2016 by Robin Thompson-Clarke to provide a unique opportunity for cellists to focus on improving their skill as solo performers and chamber musicians as well as perform some of the wonderful repertoire written for cello ensembles.

The philosophy of the Brighton Cello School is to develop the whole musician, so activities, which involve working together and developing an imaginative approach to playing form a core part of the course. This could involve painting, drawing, writing or photography.
